Supporting Women Through Life’s Transformations: From Pregnancy to Menopause

For the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of supporting women during some of the most transformative times in their lives—pregnancy and motherhood. These milestones are undoubtedly life-changing, and I’ve dedicated myself to helping women navigate this incredible journey with confidence, strength, and positivity. Throughout my years of experience, I’ve come to realize the power of yoga and mind-body therapies in offering women a holistic approach to the changes they go through during these periods of transition.

In the earlier stages of my career, I was drawn to the ways yoga and mindfulness practices can create a safe space for women to listen to their bodies, ease their minds, and nurture their overall well-being. I have seen firsthand how these practices can support women in developing resilience and embracing the changes that come with pregnancy, childbirth, and early motherhood. But as I have personally transitioned into a different season of my own life, my perspective and interests have evolved.

Over the past few years, I’ve become deeply fascinated by perimenopause and menopause, the often under-discussed stages in a woman’s life. These phases come with their own set of challenges, both physical and emotional, and I believe they deserve the same care, attention, and holistic approach that pregnancy and motherhood do. Menopause, just like pregnancy, is a natural transition, yet so many women feel unprepared for the mental, emotional, and physical shifts that accompany it.

As I embarked on my own journey of learning, I pursued various certifications in areas that deeply resonated with my passion to support women during menopause. From hypnotherapy combined with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to menopause-specific yoga practices, I’ve gathered tools to empower women to approach menopause with grace and confidence. I also trained as a menopause doula, with a focus on providing personalized care, education, and emotional support during this transformative time.

Now, I am beyond excited to announce that I am ready to expand my offerings to support women going through menopause. Soon, I will be offering one-on-one doula sessions tailored to the unique needs of each woman. These sessions will offer guidance on managing symptoms, emotional well-being, and providing tools for coping with this life transition.

In the meantime, I invite you to join me for my Menopause Well-being Workshops. These workshops will bring together like-minded women who are seeking community, knowledge, and support in navigating this important phase of life. Through a blend of yoga, education, and open discussions, we’ll explore how to make the menopause journey a positive, empowering experience.

If you’re in the midst of perimenopause or menopause, or simply curious about how to embrace this season with a more informed perspective, I would love for you to be part of this growing community. Together, we’ll learn to approach menopause with the same confidence and positivity that we aim to bring to all of life’s transitions.

The first MENOPAUSE WELL-BEING WORKSHOPS are scheduled to take place on:

The 3 hours workshop includes a Women’s Circle, information and discussion, yoga & breathing practice, opening and closing rituals in connection with Nature’s seasons.

The workshop offers the opportunity to:

  • safely share your experience and learn from like-minded women.
  • gain valuable insights into the different stages of menopause and variety of symptoms.
  • deepen your understanding of Western vs Eastern perspectives of this life transition.
  • explore tools to managing symptoms of hormonal fluctuations,
  • empower yourself to embrace changes with confidence & positivity.
